Exciting Radiology Opportunity in Southern California Body Imaging

The Department of Radiology at Los Angeles General Medical Center is seeking clinical faculty in Diagnostic Radiology for the following subspecialities Body Imaging (Abdominal, U/S or procedures). In addition to clinical services, candidates will be involved in trainee education, research, and other creative endeavors.
Position Responsibilities
- Single site (no travel)
- 40-hour work week
- Additional hours considered overtime
- Department Hours:
- Q10 for weekend coverage
- Supervise/Teach Medical Students, Residents and Fellows
- Tumor Board and Multidisciplinary conference participation
- Resident lectures
- Estimated at 6-9 lectures per year
Ideal Candidate
- Desire to interpret studies from one of the nations largest teaching hospitals at a single site, which is conveniently located on a medical campus adjacent to downtown Los Angeles.
- Desire for a rich clinical experience derived from the tremendous variety in pathology.
- Passion for providing high quality clinical patient care to an underserved population.
- Passion to teach and work with trainees.
- Interest in participating in scholarly activities.
Position Requirements
- Candidates must have an MD, DO or equivalent degree.
- Candidates must be board-certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (DR).
- Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
- Candidates must have completed a 1-year or 2-year fellowship.
- Candidates must have a current/pending California Fluoroscopy license.
