Key Opportunities and Challenges for the Next Vice Provost
- Lead and shape the future enrollment direction and recruitment strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who sets informed enrollment goals, balances historical data, forecasts, and adapts to drive sustainable growth while preserving Mizzou's mission and prestige. They will also understand the implications of potential admissions policy changes and navigate these challenges to shape the university's future admissions strategy. Mizzou seeks an innovative VPEM who understands emerging markets, adapts recruitment strategies to evolving trends, and enhances the university's appeal to prospective students while driving application growth. Partner with campus leaders to make data-driven decisions. MU seeks a VPEM who will strategically leverage data to optimize enrollment operations, foster collaboration with leadership, and shape the university's data strategy to enhance recruitment and enrollment efforts. Leverage financial aid to ensure long-term financial success. The next VPEM will use data-driven models to optimize financial aid allocation, balancing merit and need-based scholarships to ensure affordability for prospective students.
Qualifications and Characteristics
A Master's degree in a relevant area and 10 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area and 12 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
