Sample Job Duties:
Assist the orthodontist in providing high-quality orthodontic care to patients
Running your own chair, changing arch wires, bonding brackets, placing appliances
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-treatment care instructions
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Taking x-ray's, photos and scans
Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records

Skills Needed:
Orthodontic or Dental assisting experience is required, willing to train a team player with limited orthodontic experience and a superior attitude.
DANB Radiology certification is required.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
Candidate must possess exceptional people and organizational skills.
Our office has a high tech computerized software system, and knowledge of computers is necessary. Experience with iTero scanners is a plus.
This position does require an extroverted personality with strong communication skills
Reliability, promptness, and high standards for personal performance are a must.

We are seeking a team member who is warm, friendly, courteous and is a fast learner.

Paid Vacation and generous 401K. Health care reimbursement if necessary. 32-36 hours per week with one paid weekend of "on call".

Hours: 4.5 days / week, M,T, W, and F from 7:40 AM until 5:30PM, one Thursday per month 9-1. Paid vacation, Generous 401K. Health care reimbursement.
