Credentials Specialist

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Membership & Credentials, the Credentials Specialist will assist the credentials department with activities related to individuals seeking their designations in IIBEC’s credentials program and maintaining these designations through continuing educational hours and a yearly renewal fee.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Membership and Credentials Specialist with questions about credentials applications.
- Assist with candidate questions and providing credentials updates as necessary.
- Run reports and send out new credentials' cards and individual packets weekly.
- Create credential billing products and run the billing cycle for credential annual renewals.
- Process and distribute credentials invoices.
- Email registrants advising of past due status, inactive status and assist with renewal processing.
- Invoice inactive status individual late fees.
- Mail suspension letters and invoices .
- Create and mail credential reinstatement notices.
- Review exam payments and exam registration form report.
- Send individual exam request information to testing company Meazure.
- Notify applicants of retest eligibility for Credentials monthly
- Compile data for CEH credential reports.
- Send out new certification and recertification materials for CBECxP program.
- Assist membership department with running membership cards and processing payments.
- Provide secondary assistance with incoming IIBEC phones.
- Serve as backup for IIBEC mail processing.
- Assist the membership department by running membership cards twice a month.
- Assist the events department with miscellaneous duties for the IIBEC Convention
- Perform other duties as assigned..
This position requires proficient writing and communication skills. A superb attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is required. The candidate must possess a general knowledge of office procedure, routine business interactions, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the capability to work in a team environment is a must. Candidates must be able to work under pressure and adapt to a changing environment.
Additional requirements include at least two years' experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), web and web-based technologies. Prior experience with a membership database is preferred.
Some travel is required.
