Apply nowLine CookPart TimePay Rate: $15/HourLocation: Pocono Mountain Villas by Exploria ResortsJob Summary: The Line Cook will report directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and is responsible for preparing and cooking food for guests. Line cooks are responsible for providing the highest quality of food to the guests.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  • Cook and package batches of food, such as hamburgers and fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
  • Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
  • Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
  • Practices safe food handling techniques in food preparation and storage.
  • Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year line cook experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Required Competencies:
  • Must be punctual, dependable and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Physical Demands:
