Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Investigate and implement innovative process improvements for manufacturing and assembly to enhance productivity.
- Effectively use visual controls to communicate process improvements and project status to the team.
- Manage time efficiently to achieve product development goals while addressing real-time challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead the identification and implementation of productivity enhancements to meet productivity goals.
- Conduct real-time problem resolution to support on-time delivery targets.
- Assist in the design and preparation of drawings for equipment, fixtures, and tools modifications.
- Assist in the design of fixtures and material handling devices that comply with regulatory requirements to facilitate process efficiency.
- Support projects aimed at Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP).
Basic Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent work experience, coupled with 3+ years of manufacturing experience, particularly with CNC machining equipment.
- Experience in CNC programming preferred, hands-on troubleshooting and in Lean manufacturing.
- Experience in CAD software for creating process prints, tool, fixture, and gauge design (Solid Works and AutoCAD preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to use basic measuring tools.
- Forward-thinking and skilled in developing, documenting, and implementing effective systems and procedures to enhance manufacturing effectiveness.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
- This position is onsite, supporting day-to-day operations as per client and manager needs.
- US Citizenship required due to DOD nature of projects you will work on.
- Work environment is on the manufacturing floor with varying temperatures.
- Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, occasional exposure to heat, cold, wet conditions, and fumes/chemicals.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
- Regular use of wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Close visual acuity is required for reading schematics, drawings, and computer screens.
- Up to 25% travel is possible.

- Strong aptitude for milling, grinding, assembly, and automation.
