*Job Summary*

The Lead Finish Carpenter will oversee and manage carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines. This role requires strong leadership, technical skills, and the ability to coordinate with other trades and team members.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Supervise and manage a team of finish carpenters and laborers.
* Plan, organize, and direct carpentry work on various projects.
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
* Inspect work progress and quality, making necessary adjustments.
* Manage materials and supplies.
* Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Communicate with clients, and project managers to provide updates and address concerns.
* Train and mentor junior carpenters and laborers.

*Qualifications*
* High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry is preferred.
* Proven experience as a finish carpenter, with a minimum of 7+ years in finish carpentry.
* 3+ years of leadership experience.
* Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and blueprints.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor tasks.
* Valid US Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel to various job sites.

*Skills*
* Proficiency in the use of carpentry tools and equipment.
* Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong time management skills.
* Proficient in using project management software and tools. (BuilderTrend experience preferred)
* Master finish carpentry level skillset with quality work being of the utmost importance.

*Work Environment*
* Work is performed both mostly indoors and some outdoors in various weather conditions.
* May require working at heights, in confined spaces, and on construction sites.
* Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

*Compensation*
* Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. ($28-$35/hour)
