Our client in Hancock County, OH is in need of a Nurse Practitioner (Pallative Care) for a full-time assignment

Job details:

  • Start - ASAP
  • Shift - 5 day workweek, 8:00 am-5:00 pm + rotating on-call
  • This position is for OUTPATIENT care.
  • Must have passion for palliative care, hospice and the geriatric population
  • Practice autonomously and provide symptom management of really sick patients
  • Symptom management, chronic disease management, goals of care, advanced care planning
  • 100% inpatient, round on inpatient hospice patients M-F
  • Hospitalists admit, Open ICU

Job Requirements:

  • Board Certified NP - REQUIRED
  • Geriatric Certification (or willing to obtain within 1 year) - REQUIRED
  • OH license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • Three years or more of work experience as NP in an acute care setting or with Palliative Care and Hospice (NO EXCEPTIONS) - REQUIRED
