We are assisting a reputable hospital system located in Southeast Alabama with their search for two Palliative Care Nurse Practitioners. The hospital is a 420-bed medical center and a level II trauma center.

Job Details:

  • Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm
  • No Call
  • Inpatient only position
  • Work alongside hospitalist physicians, case management, and a chaplain as well as one other Nurse Practitioner
  • At least 1 year of experience in Palliative Care or Hospice setting preferred. This can be as a Nurse Practitioner or a Registered Nurse.
  • Palliative Care NP Certification is preferred but not required. They will discuss providing CME funds if the provider is interested in acquiring this certification.
  • Provider must feel comfortable working autonomously in the inpatient setting

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary dependent on experience
  • $15,000 Sign-on
  • Robust benefits package including dental/health, malpractice, CME, and retirement

  • Allowance for licensing and professional fees
