Responsibilities:
Conduct ongoing audits of client accounts to ensure optimal reimbursement and coding compliance.
Provide feedback and remediation to outsourcing teams to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency.
Deliver remote educational sessions to outsourcing staff on coding practices and updates.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with clients to offer insights and feedback on coding and documentation guidelines.
Educate clients on changes to coding policies and procedures, ensuring clear understanding and compliance.
Accurately identify and code diagnostic and procedural information to ensure proper documentation and billing.

Qualifications:
2 years coding experience.
Certified coding specialist.
Must know medical terminology.
Some college preferred.

Skills:
Proficiency in medical billing systems.
Knowledge in coding methodology - State and Federal Billing Guidelines.
Demonstrates expertise in any specialty CPT-4, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding principles and practices.
Ability to develop effective and professional training programs for staff.
Proven ability to interact with physicians and support staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point & System Report Writer(s) as applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
