Cybersecurity Program Analyst

When our country’s cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough, we need a plan. And when that plan needs to support our defense infrastructure, we need strategic policy development. That’s why we need you, a cybersecurity program analyst with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.
As a cybersecurity program analyst on our team, you’ll lead the assessment of your client’s cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate or audit how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work in a consultative role to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.

You Have:
10+ years of experience in professional services, the Federal government, or Federal consulting
Experience with writing or drafting executive or formal senior-level correspondence or material to support decision-making
Experience with technical writing at the organization-level, including technical strategies and analyzing the development of technical policies
Experience in the cybersecurity or information assurance field
Experience with facilitating meetings, including working groups and conferences, and associated pre- and post-meeting activities
Knowledge of the cybersecurity program in the DoD
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with supporting DoD-level organizations, including Action Officer duties and staffing processes or tools
Experience with analyzing the development of information assurance and cybersecurity practices, policies, and strategies
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices
Knowledge of NIST 800 series publications
Knowledge of Joint instructions and manuals
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational skills
CISSP or CISM Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
