This short-term acute care center, featuring over 400 beds and designated as a Level II trauma facility with teaching status, is currently seeking a highly qualified Imaging Manager. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director and/or Radiology Director, the Imaging Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all MRI operations. This includes managing day-to-day activities, training and mentoring MRI staff to uphold high standards of service, and ensuring the accuracy of order verification, documentation, medical necessity confirmation, and pre-authorizations for MRI procedures.

The role involves performing a variety of MRI and MRA procedures to assist in diagnosing physical and physiological conditions. Expertise in operating multiple MRI scanners, utilizing diverse medical software, and applying advanced imaging techniques to generate both anatomical and functional images is required. Additionally, adherence to established scanning protocols and a thorough understanding of all MRI examinations, exam preparations, and related order verification processes is crucial.

Candidates should hold a diploma from a Junior College or Technical School, along with ARRT Certification in Radiography and ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance. A WV Medical Imaging License is also strongly encouraged, as is current CPR certification.
