Job Title: Mammography/X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mammography/X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Coastal Radiology Associates. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and producing high-quality exams.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology and imaging technology, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with patients, families, and interdepartmental personnel to ensure a positive and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pleasantly greet patients, verify their identification, and ensure the correctness of the procedure to be performed.
  • Maintain patient satisfaction and ensure that any required consent forms are signed prior to examination.
  • Perform all required diagnostic imaging exams following established protocols and capture best-quality images.
  • Document all necessary clinical information, including patient history and prior exams.
  • Perform weekly and monthly visual inspections of equipment and report any hazardous conditions or breakdowns to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in certified modality.
  • Completion of accredited Radiology or MRI program.
  • ARRT certification.
  • ARDMS Certification.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Good verbal communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
