*Job Overview:*

_We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care team. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role involves working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care and support to residents in the facility._

*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Resident Care:* Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine health assessments. Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* *Care Planning:* Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans based on each resident’s needs and medical conditions.
* *Medication Administration:* Safely prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed, adhering to protocols and ensuring accurate dosage. Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions.
* *Documentation:* Maintain accurate and detailed records of residents’ care, including medical histories, treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in condition. Ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with regulatory standards.
* *Emergency Response:* Respond promptly to emergencies, providing necessary interventions and notifying the appropriate medical personnel. Participate in emergency drills and training.
* *Communication:* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team. Provide updates on residents’ conditions and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
* *Infection Control:* Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
* *Supervision:* Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants and other support staff. Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure care is delivered according to established standards.
* *Quality Improvement:* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities to enhance the standard of care. Provide input on policies and procedures to improve resident outcomes.

*Qualifications:*
* *Licensure:* Current LPN license in Pennsylvania or compact license.
* *Experience:* Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing setting.
* *Skills:* Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to work in a team environment, and attention to detail.
* *Certifications:* CPR/BLS certification required.
* *Physical Requirements:* Ability to lift and move residents, stand for long periods, and perform tasks requiring physical stamina.

5x8 Hr. Nights (40 Hrs. per Week)

*Duration:*

9 Weeks

*Pay Breakdown:*

$40.00/Hr. (Blended Rate)
