Job Description

The Facility Security Administrator is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, vendors, customers, and facilities. On-site security personnel will ensure strict adherence to all security protocols, procedures and controls. The Facility Security Administrator is responsible for ensuring the overall security of the facility and must:

  • Perform routine interior and exterior patrols on premises to make sure building doors and emergency exits remain secure
  • Escort personnel and vendors as needed
  • Notify and assisting managers with receipt of materials 
  • Ensure visitors are escorted and compliance requirements are met per state regulations
  • Add, modify, and remove door access privileges
  • Monitor security cameras and report concerns
  • Serve as the main point of contact for onsite office needs during business hours and supports administrative/reception requests as required
  • Help report needs for building maintenance repairs and recommend changes/improvements
  • Maintain inventory levels of general office supplies; reorder/restock for events as necessary
  • Support onsite project event / demonstration planning as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary

$17 - $19 USD per hour

Required Skills

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma
  • Applicants for this role must be over 21 years old
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
