Forum Benefits, an Alera Group Company is seeking a Benefits Technology Specialist to join our Employee Benefits team.

The Benefits Technology Specialist is responsible for the management of the internal HR Technology system (Employee Navigator) offered to clients, as well as projects related to other HR technology platforms.  The Benefits Technology Specialist will work closely with the internal Administration Team, Account Management Teams, Account Executive Teams, and the Benefits Technology Consulting to identify technological needs for clients and oversee the successful implementation of identified client systems.  The Benefits Technology Specialist will also be heavily involved with client demos, HR training, carrier and vendor integrations, and internal client services. Essential job functions include:

  • Build & maintain clients in the Employee Navigator system
  • Have vast knowledge of Employee Navigator
  • Build carrier file feeds
  • Manage discrepancies of file feeds
  • Be able to test/break the system with demo’s
  • Excel ability

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of applicable work experience in insurance benefit administration with a carrier, broker, consulting firm, or HR technology firm.
  • Must be able to travel locally 25% of the time
