Responsibilities/Duties:

Preparing medications for pharmacist to check in an efficient and organized manner

Data entry of prescription information. Including, but not limited to: drug selection, allergy selection and insurance information.

Contacting insurance companies

Ordering drugs and supplies for pharmacy

Maintaining a clean and safe workspace

Filling bubble pack/blister card medications

Answering phone

Completing required training

Billing

Requirements:

Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Dependable

Team player

Excellent customer service skills for our residents, families and Nursing staff

Must be 18 years old

High School Diploma or GED required

Licensed as Pharmacy Technician
