Pharmacy Technician Medrock Pharmacy - Chattanooga , TN

Position Overview:

MedRock pharmacy is looking for a motivated individual who values team work , has strong work ethics , and willing to learn, improve and grow .

MedRock is a fast growing full-service pharmacy with a focus on dermatology products, our mission is to create medicines that improve the quality of patients lives.

The Pharmacy Technician will primarily do non-sterile compounding and/or data entry and perform all tasks and duties assigned.

For the first 90 days, the technician will be required to work 2 Saturday's per month 9AM to 1PM.

Job Duties:

Assists in maintaining logs, documents and any required paperwork
Assists in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety and cleanliness.
Working under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares RXs and compounds of quality, compliant with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions "Life-File"
Weighing, mixing and packaging of medication, reviewing and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work independently
Organized.
Responsible
Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks.
Strong Organizational skills.

Required Education & Experience:

2 years experience
Active State Pharmacy Technician license
