JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager, Northeast
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have an employment history with a wine distributor, exhibit leadership skills, be able to work towards a goal, manage special events and most importantly be able to show sales success. Responsible for achieving volume growth objectives and key performance indicators on the Quintessential portfolio of brands. Implement pricing and programming initiatives while managing customers in a manner that will achieve profitable long-term growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Critical Tasks - Sales:

• Drive depletions from distributors to the trade, work independently in the trade and alongside distributor sales personnel.
• Must be adept in calling on trade channels and have a relationship of well-established key accounts
• Support local distributor teams in the promotion of Quintessential brands
• With coordination from the North Division VP, develop and implement pricing and programming initiatives to drive consumer engagement.
• Visibility with consumer driven events such as regional tasting events and wine dinners
• Organize and develop market visits by QW winery personnel
• Must be Computer literate (Excel, Word, Power point)
• Develop and monitor accounts sold and depletion data through our sales reporting systems.
• Manage inventories within distributors to ensure the appropriate levels necessary to achieve FY sales objectives.
• Educate distributor sales reps and accounts on the quintessential portfolio.
• Must be organized and efficiently plan and utilize your business resources.
• Must be willing to travel within region

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of industry-related sales experience within the distribution, hospitality or supplier community.
• 21 years or older
• Must be Computer literate (Excel, Word, Power point)
• Valid state motor vehicle operator's license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by state laws.

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stopping.
• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include driving throughout the day with segments up to 4-6 hours.
• May require lifting/lowering. Pushing, carrying, or pull up to 56lbs.
