*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our patient-focused care team. In this role, you will perform critical care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages, utilizing your expertise in cardiopulmonary diseases. You will be responsible for operating respiratory care equipment, performing technical procedures, and maintaining quality control measures.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment.
* Perform technical procedures related to cardiopulmonary hemodynamics.
* Demonstrate competency in airway care and patient assessment.
* Accurately interpret results and suggest alternative respiratory treatments.
* Reassess patients and maintain proper documentation.
* Collaborate with physicians and nurses to update patient care plans.

*Qualifications:*
* *Experience:* Acute Care Hospital experience preferred.
* *Education:* Graduate of an American Medical Association accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
* *Licenses and Certifications:*
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
* Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required for NICU RRT Staff).
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for ICU RRT staff).

*Additional Information:*
* *Monthly Department Volume:* 75-125 patients.
* *Types of Services:* Level 2 Trauma, Shock Trauma ICU, MICU, Oncology, NICU.
* *Team Culture:* Positive, team-oriented environment.
* *Staffing:* 6 RTs per shift, 16 FTEs.
* *Reporting To:* Respiratory Manager.
