Alexandria VA United States Booz Allen Full time
Cybersecurity Policy Analyst

The Opportunity:

When our country’s cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough, we need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect the DoD, it's components, and mission partners, we need strategic policy support. That’s why we need you, a specialist in both cybersecurity and policy, with the expertise required to guide a team analyzing the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cyber strategic planning and policy support consultant on our team, you’ll help drive the assessment of the DoD's cybersecurity architecture policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll lead the team on the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You’ll work with the client to ensure they operate securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. Join us as we protect our nation's critical infrastructure through strategic cyber policy support.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

5+ years of experience with cybersecurity
1+ years of experience with federal government, professional services, or federal consulting
1+ years of experience with the cybersecurity or information assurance field and applying operational expertise of the cybersecurity program in the DoD
Knowledge of the DoD, and it's components and organization
Ability to manage individual or team projects and ensure quality deliverables
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through verbal, written, and visual mechanisms, including PowerPoints
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience with presentations to senior level personnel, including SES, GO, or C-Suite
Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Ability to present complex information in an easily understood format
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree in a Cybersecurity or Engineering field

Clearance:
