Position Summary:TRIO Talent Search academic instructor/in school tutor to assist Talent Search middle and high school students during the 9 month after school tutorial component.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:A sincere commitment to an interest in the educational needs of the target population and a proven track record in motivation of youth from low income, first generation families, and the ability to stimulate positive activity of program staff is preferred. Must demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of economically and educationally disadvantaged youth. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Educational designated subject area or closely related field and experience in teaching or classroom demonstration.
