Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor for High School English to provide individualized instruction and support to high school students in improving their essay writing and reading comprehension skills.

Responsibilities
  • Work with students' homework, tests, and quizzes to help them reach their academic goals
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in-home with flexibility to schedule based on the student's activities
  • Help students improve their reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
Requirements
  • 3rd or 4th year college students with a goal to earn a bachelor's degree in English or a related field are preferred
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience is required
  • An excellent command of the English language is essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • A passion for education and helping students succeed is required
  • The ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment is crucial
