Position Summary



Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Boston, Massachusetts and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll DoManage information technology project and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement information technology projects to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.• 50% Travel required nationally.• Telecommuting permitted.• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
RequirementsMaster’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:• Utilizing ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools including Micro Focus (erstwhile know an HP Business Technology Optimization (BTO) tools) to manage software advisory and implementation services for clients in the banking, finance, or retail industries;• Managing all phases of Agile project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing, and implementing ServiceNow, and Micro Focus for enterprise-level clients;• Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments, utilizing data models, process designs, flow diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), estimation techniques, requirements elicitation, architecture models and other data visualization techniques using SQL, and native reporting;• Supervising teams and external vendors, collaborating with business stakeholders and other enterprise teams focused on ITSM delivery of engagements;• Managing the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks, utilizing Agile methodology; and• Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments, utilizing standardized project deliverables including implementation, system documents, and integration design documents.
