Summary
The Lead Life Skills Professional (LLSP) plays a pivotal role in supporting the Life Skills Supervisor and ensuring the smooth operation of the program. This leadership position requires adherence to industry, federal, and local regulations while providing direct support to program participants. In addition to performing the duties of a Life Skills Professional, the LLSP acts as a mentor and guide for other Life Skills Professionals, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team. A strong commitment to the organization's values is essential in carrying out the responsibilities of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Direct Care:
- Deliver services to participants in compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain organized systems within assigned areas/homes, tailored to the support needs of the individuals.
- Assist participants in setting personal, recovery-oriented goals and provide guidance in achieving them.
- Facilitate the development of Rehabilitation Service Plan (RSP) goals with participants every 60 days, and provide daily support in working towards those goals.
- Provide local transportation for participants as needed.

Staff Support:
- Mentor, train, observe, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to Life Skills Professionals regarding the implementation of treatment plans.

Operations:
- Collaborate with Life Skills Professionals, management, internal departments, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service implementation aligned with treatment plans, service delivery models, and regulations.
- Intervene and document critical incidents, ensuring appropriate crisis management.
- Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of site documentation, including observation checks, Medication Administration Records (MARs), and daily shift notes.
- Foster effective partnerships with other agencies in the service delivery system to ensure coordinated, continuous, and effective services for participant rehabilitation.

Administration:
- Support Program Integrity Representatives (PIRs) in maintaining the physical plant by monitoring and inspecting program participants' household chores.
- Enter daily census, demographic data, intake information, and billing data into the Avatar system.
- Conduct assessments, planning, creation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of participants' daily living activities in accordance with the Recovery Model.
- Report maintenance needs to the Program Manager.
- Assess participants' strengths, skills, abilities, and learning styles to determine the most effective approach for skill development.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Two years of experience in the social service field
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP), Certified Peer Specialist (CPS), or WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) trained
- Valid driver's license

Shift: May be flexible depending on applicant's schedule
