Technology and Innovation | Software EngRosslyn, Virginia, United StatesPosition SummaryDeloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Arlington, Virginia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.Work You’ll Do
Manage Oracle software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant Oracle tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpret and report on outputs. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
• 50% Travel required nationally.
• Telecommuting permitted.
• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Managing all phases of the project delivery and software implementation lifecycle to design, develop, test, and implement Oracle solutions for enterprise-level clients;
• Developing functional specifications for custom developments, and interfacing with external systems via Oracle Unified Method (OUM);
• Performing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) production rollouts and providing post-production Hypercare support and defect resolution, utilizing Hybrid Agile methodology and Agile sprints;
• Overseeing the tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio;
• Utilizing Jira and Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to support and oversee unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions; and
• Managing the design and delivery of user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance in client environments by leveraging the Training of Trainers (ToT) Model, End-User Training, and townhall meetings.Other
