We bring together lean, fast-moving teams of expert technologists, digital specialists and data scientists to advise our clients on their digital transformation agendas and transaction needs. We work with clients to understand the impact of rapidly evolving digital paradigms and emerging technologies on the future of their business, translating that into an executable strategy and blueprint that combines business model innovation, customer experience strategy, modern technology and data architectures with a rigorous focus on planning and execution.  We assist clients on their high stakes transactions needs ranging from acquisition and divestment strategy to technology and digital due diligence, merger and acquisition (M&A) integration planning and carve outs.What You’ll DoThe Senior Solutions Architect – Cloud Engineering + Design candidate should have subject matter expertise in designing and implementing solutions that run in IaaS, PaaS or SaaS on Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP, including deep understanding of core capabilities like compute, network, data, storage, analytics, security, and the ability to compare, evaluate and recommend solutions using each vendor.  They should have a strong understanding of the entire Azure, AWS and GCP cloud product and services suite, their applicable use cases, best practices, migration paths, financial trade-offs, and support considerations.  The candidate will be responsible for providing enterprise architecture recommendations, including defining and documenting infrastructure architectural details, business and technology drivers and solution options (with operational cost modeling, TCO, ROI and roadmap alignment).  They must have knowledge and experience with the full range of cloud operations, including multi-cloud architectures, hybrid and containerized environments, storage solutions, identity management, business continuity, governance, and technical engineering best practices.The candidate should have the ability to translate and communicate complex enterprise data architectural design concepts and solutions in a variety of forums, tailoring communications to effectively fit and influence the targeted audience.  This includes communicating architecture vision, technical strategies, and trade-offs across various levels in the organization to gain buy-in from stakeholders.  The candidate must have demonstrated success in developing architecture strategies and be able to make short-term recommendations in the context of a long-term technology direction.  They should have a passion for continually researching current and emerging technologies and understanding how the elements fit together.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or related field 6+ years of post-graduate experienceAt least one of the following: Azure Certified Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud ArchitectAbility to travel to clients and to FTI offices as neededPreferred Qualifications4+ years of direct experience in cloud design, deployment, support, and management of large, complex systemsExperience in a consulting environmentFamiliarity with DevOps, process automation and CI/CDData engineering experience – RDBMS, NoSQL, EDW, ETL, iPaaS, BI Analytics.Experience building and deploying solutions in IaaS and PaaS environments, including infrastructure as code and containerized deploymentsUnderstanding of industry standard system architecture and system management concepts and tools#LI-BB1    #LI-Hybrid Our Benefits    Our goal is to support the well-being of you and your families—physically, emotionally, and financially.
