Cloud Engineer

The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect on our team, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions.

You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Office 365, Azure, AWS, Jira to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. You'll have the chance to grow your skills within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, and GCP labs, you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients' problems, and you'll work with your team and stakeholders to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether helping to modernize legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you'll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:

2+ years experience with design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure

Knowledge of system administration of Windows or Linux Operating Systems

Ability to support the migration, architecting, building, and deploying of systems and applications in Cloud platforms

Top Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Ability to obtain 8570 IAT II or III certification within 3 months of start date

Nice If You Have:

Knowledge of DoD accreditation processes

Associate's degree preferred and Bachelor's degree a plus

AWS or Azure certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
