*Responsibilities:*

· *Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure in the cloud*

· Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

· Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices

· Monitor network performance and integrity

· Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure

· Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

· Mentor team members on technical issues

· Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

· Communicate with users when needed

· Maintain complete technical documentation

· Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability

· All other duties as assigned

*Requirements:*

· Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator

· *Extensive experience in cloud network engineering (Azure, AWS)*

· Oracle Cloud Infrastructure networking experience (nice to have)

· Solid background in network administration and architecture

· Experience creating/implementing/troubleshooting cloud networks/infrastructure

· *Experience setup cloud environments for applications and web services to function *

· Experience building and baselining infrastructure specific objects in cloud environments to build consistent cloud tenants using best practice techniques for multiple cloud providers (Azure and AWS)

· In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)

· Familiarity with access control models and network security

· Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., *SolarWinds network tools*)

· *Basic understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)*

· *Understanding of IPSEC and other types of VPN and how that transfers into Azure/cloud*

· Experience with Fortinet and Cisco ASA

· Experience with Palo Alto

· Azure Virtual WAN with Palo Alto (Prisma Cloud) Experience

· Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

· SD-WAN and Virtual WAN experience

· *Understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls. *

· *Basic Linux OS experience*

· Solid troubleshooting skills

· Ability to work independently with strong organizational and mentoring skills

· Strong customer service skills and attention to detail

· *Ability to partner and influence peers and customers.*

· Ability to work after hours to support projects and maintenance activities.

· Potential travel to support field office projects
