We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join one of our Fortune 500 Real Estate clients.  

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee daily operations at our industrial battery plant. The ideal candidate will manage budgets, coordinate maintenance activities, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Lead monthly client meetings to discuss facility operations and budgets.
  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance and repair work performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and prepare facility budgets, including operating and capital project budgets.
  • Obtain and review price quotes for parts, services, and labor to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Process invoices and ensure accurate cost tracking and coding.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring adherence to work order and billing procedures.
  • Ensure proper use of safety gear in designated areas with potential lead exposure.
  • Conduct pre-safety checks and enforce compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Manage and maintain industrial equipment such as compressed air systems, chillers, and HVAC units.
  • Utilize computer systems for work order management, email communication, and training purposes.
  • Coordinate facility moves, additions, and changes as needed.
  • Provide training on facility processes and procedures to staff members.
  • Prepare and present financial and operational reports as required.
Experience and Education:
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in industrial facilities management.
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, technical, or management fields.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and work order management systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform financial analysis and reporting.
