At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in. We're growing our team here in Red Oak, TX. 

Compensation: $26.20 hour

Shifts: Multiple positions are available 
  • Evenings: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (weekdays and weekends)
  • Nights: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (weekdays and weekends)

About the job:
  • Oversee daily security operations, ensuring officers provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
  • Conduct routine patrols, inspections, and surveillance to ensure the safety and security of the site.
  • Oversee access control and badge management process.
  • Review officer reports on activities, patrols, and incidents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure that operational logs, records and post orders are maintained appropriately.
  • Train and mentor security team members, ensuring operational readiness and professionalism.
  • Communicate with site management to address security concerns and site-specific requirements.
  • Conduct shift briefings and ensure effective communication between security officers across shifts.
  • Act as a point of contact during emergency situations, coordinating response efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with site-specific security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor surveillance systems to ensure security protocols are followed and address any issues as they arise.

Your background:
  • You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
  • Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or related fields is required.
  • Previous security experience preferred.
  • You have a Texas Security License (GardaWorld will help to obtain this license during the hiring process).
  • You have a CPR certification (GardaWorld will help to obtain this license during the hiring process).
  • You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirement.
  • You have a valid driver's license with a good driving history (pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check).
