Job Summary and Qualifications

The Physician Liaison is responsible for managing and enhancing the recruitment process for physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) by coordinating and attending site interviews, as well as engaging in proactive outreach to residents and fellows. This role is essential in ensuring a positive candidate experience and maintaining the efficiency of the recruitment process.  

The Physician Liaison will focus on the Treasure Coast market including, HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital, HCA Lawnwood Hospital, HCA Florida Highlands Hospital and HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital. 

Key Responsibilities:

Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate site interviews for physicians and APPs, including arranging travel, accommodations, and on-site logistics to ensure a seamless experience for candidates.

Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with residents and fellows, conducting outreach to promote opportunities within the organization and generate interest among emerging medical professionals.

Reporting: Update and maintain recruitment reports, providing accurate and timely information on candidate status, interview outcomes, and recruitment metrics.

Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Ensure that all candidate information is accurately entered and updated in the ATS, facilitating smooth communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment process.

Candidate Engagement: Act as a point of contact for candidates, providing them with necessary information, answering questions, and guiding them through the interview process.

Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and other team members to align on candidate needs, interview logistics, and outreach strategies.

Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from candidates and hiring teams post-interview to continually improve the recruitment and interview process.

Event Participation: Attend job fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events to represent the organization and engage with potential candidates.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and report generation a plus.

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with leadership.

Familiarity with physician and APP recruitment processes is a plus.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred (appropriate experience can be substituted for education.) Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
