Job Title: Transportation Traffic Clerk

Location: Kansas City, KS

Pay Range:$20.50/hr

Shift: Mon - Fri 10am - 6pm

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure the completion of shipping/receiving documents accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure orders are on schedule to meet daily pickup schedules in a timely, efficient, and safe manner
  • Verify and count products to ensure data accuracy on the system
  • Maintain warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler
  • Ensure accuracy of all shipping and receiving (B.O.L.) documents

What's Needed?

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
  • Ability to allocate and distribute job functions and manage processes. 
  • Prefer One (1) year experience in Transportation control
  • Intermediate computer or tablet skills; Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); SAP
  • Ability to work required schedule and arrive at work on time. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous and professional manner with others. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instruction. Ability to listen well and ask good questions. Ability to prepare reports
  • Ability to communicate with individuals of all levels including truck drivers to customers.
