Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team at Olsson, a leading engineering and design firm. As a Traffic Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks and projects. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop innovative solutions that positively impact communities.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Traffic Engineer who is passionate about collaborative work and committed to making a difference in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks and projects
  • Collaborate with our team to develop innovative solutions
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and develop effective solutions
  • Conduct traffic analysis, design, and studies
  • Develop and implement traffic management plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4-8 years of relevant traffic engineering experience
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Experience working on Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA), and Oklahoma Municipal projects
  • Experience in traffic analysis, design, and traffic studies
  • Working knowledge of software including Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM or other similar software
  • Experience using CAD software such as MicroStation and OpenRoads
