Role Overview:

Have you managed renovation and new construction projects up to $100,000 in value? Are you a CONSTRUCTION Project Management Professional with excellent organization skills as your strong suits? IF YES, then Sodexo has an opportunity for a Construction Project Manager 1 at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. Our successful candidate will operate with excellent communication and follow up with our campus leadership requestors regarding project development, execution and completion.

Incentives: Competitive salary and Relocation Assistance is available for candidates who live more than 50 miles away (in the contiguous US). What You'll Do:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Design or Engineering is preferred
  • Have Experience Budgeting, Estimating and Scheduling Construction Projects is required
  • Have the Ability to earn our client partner's trust and follow up upon completion of projects Have Experience in interior design and furnishing selections is preferred
  • Strong design experience and AutoCAD - Revit expertise is preferred
  • Have experience developing scope of work and communicating complex projects to our client partners to achieve excellent customer satisfaction
  • Drive decisions based on data and changing needs, and by building and maintaining strong client relationships

What You Bring:

 

  • Experience managing renovation and new construction projects up to $100,000 in value
  • AutoCAD / Revit expertise 
  • Negotiation skills, and experience, preparing subcontracts, ensuring subcontractors understand expectations of the projects and client
  • Experience with development of project schedules and execution according to plan 
  • Experience as primary onsite project leader to develop cost estimates and sub-contractor scope documents and solicitations for bids
  • Experience ensuring project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and Sodexo standards
