Our client, a leading telecommunications company, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of the IT department supporting various business channels. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and experience in Agile Program Management which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Contribute to the company's success by delivering and implementing medium-sized projects, processes, and/or programs that streamline operations or enhance service to the business.
  • Responsible for the prioritization and progressive elaboration of stakeholder requirements to enable implementation of a solution that will meet the needs of the sponsoring organization and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and creating comprehensive work products documenting requirements, including validation and traceability, for existing and new applications supporting various business channels.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technology development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.
  • Attend and/or host management and project team meetings as required keeping the project team informed and progressing including project reviews with stakeholders as necessary to perform ongoing assessments on the progress of projects.

What's Needed?

  • At least 5 years relevant experience required in technical delivery and project management.
  • Reconciles conflicting requirements, decomposes high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguishes presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguishes solution ideas from requests.
  • Plans, directs and completes the analysis of business problems to be solved or product/services to be developed for delivery.
  • Delegates project responsibilities and task interfaces, directs, motivates and manages the project work and resources involved within the project.
  • Familiarity with Jira required. Comfortability with creating presentations in PowerPoint required. Experience in industry preferred.
