Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Compliance and Operational Risk Program Specialist to join their team. As a Compliance and Operational Risk Program Specialist, you will be part of the Compliance and Risk Management Department supporting the Compliance and Operational Risk teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Pennington, NJ; Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: Based on the experience

 

What’s the Job?

  • Supervise the execution of Compliance and Operational Risk Management program elements, assessing risks and associated controls.
  • Manage monitoring and reporting of adherence to the program, addressing issues and identifying enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with ongoing laws, rules, and regulations, providing independent oversight of performance.
  • Manage the Operational Risk Strategy, engage with local regulators, and oversee regulatory inquiries.
  • Identify, remediate, and escalate issues, driving actions to address root causes of compliance risks and operational losses.

 

What’s Needed?

  • Ability to assist Risk Officers in managing tests and monitoring activities throughout their lifecycle.
  • Experience in identifying and managing issues to remediate concerns identified by audits or regulators.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and data analytics tools, including Tableau, MS SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with policies, procedures, and guidelines management.
