Job Title: Vice President Food Safety and Quality Assurance

Location: Fort Collins, CO

What’s the Job?

  •  
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and quality standards, including SQF, FDA, HACCP, and other applicable regulations.
  •  
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance and food safety strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals
    •  
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address customer complaints, internal quality issues, and food safety risks
  •  
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring all quality and food safety systems and processes are always audit-ready.
  •  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality and food safety-related customer inquiries and complaints.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Safety, Quality Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety within the food manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, including SQF, HACCP, FDA, and GFSI standards.
  • Proven experience in a baking or similar food manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Must have executive management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams at a senior level
