Exciting Opportunity for a Chemist I - Join Our Team

Our client, a leading innovator in the chemical industry, is seeking a Chemist I to join their team. As a Chemist I, you will be part of the Research and Development Department, supporting the Analytical Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Chemist I

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay Range: $ 22-26/hr (W2 Contract)

 

What’s the Job?

  • Prepare samples and standards for various analytical tests.
  • Conduct chemical extractions using established protocols.
  • Operate and maintain GC and HPLC equipment to collect and analyze data.
  • Prepare plastic samples for microscopy analysis (optical, SEM, etc.) and other rheology, thermal, and spectroscopy tests.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.

 

What’s Needed?

  • Associate degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in the industry or a related field.
  • Strong laboratory skills and experience with analytical equipment.
  • Proficiency in using various computer software packages.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
