US - QC Lab Tech

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Laboratory Technician to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will perform various laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, data review, and equipment maintenance. The role requires proficiency in aseptic techniques, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
Location: Ontario CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
Schedule: M-F, 8-hour shift, flexible start times between 6am - 8am
Duration: Potential for extension
What’s the Job?
- Independently accomplish tasks and responsibilities in the laboratory setting.
- Log incoming production and raw material samples in LIMS and SAP for analytical testing, prepare samples for internal and external labs, and inspect samples for analysis.
- Review raw material Certificate of Analysis data and laboratory data for accuracy before reporting.
- Clean laboratory glassware, maintain, calibrate, and monitor laboratory equipment (e.g., incubators, refrigerators).
- Perform administrative lab tasks, including updating SOPs, and provide support in generating Certificates of Analysis and reviewing production potency adjustment reports.
- Execute environmental monitoring programs, perform microbiological testing (ATP, environmental swabs, allergen swab programs).
- Track non-routine and priority samples, support investigations, and monitor TrackWise Investigations and Deviations.
- Perform internal audits as assigned and support special assignments as requested by plant management.
- The position requires adherence to cGMP guidelines.
- The role involves providing support and backup for various functions related to raw materials, finished goods, and laboratory operations.
What’s Needed?
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's of Science preferred but not required.
- Aseptic Techniques are required.
- Experience in a laboratory environment is a plus. - Lab Skills are preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Respirator required at times.
- Experience in a laboratory environment is a plus.
