Hourly Pay Rate: $22-$23
Work Schedule:

  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch) or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Onsite, no remote flexibility
  • 40 hours per week

Interview Process:

Position Summary:
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching service technicians to various locations based on customer calls and service contracts. This role involves managing routine maintenance and emergency repairs, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring efficient communication between customers, technicians, and supervisors.

Principal Responsibilities:

  1. Prioritize service calls and allocate the appropriate workforce.
  2. Schedule or dispatch technicians to specific locations based on customer needs. Confirm call receipt by the technician.
  3. Address customer issues related to billing and service.
  4. Communicate work orders, messages, or information to or from supervisors and technicians.
  5. Coordinate with customers or supervisors to resolve issues or respond to service requests.
  6. Assign technicians to jobs with the appropriate work or purchase order numbers.
  7. Close work tickets upon completion and follow up with customers for feedback.
  8. Review and respond to calls managed by the call center.
  9. Obtain COD information and notify credit for new customer credit approval.
  10. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma (required), Associate's Degree (preferred)
  • Experience: 0-5 years of relevant experience
  • Skills:
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced)
    • Organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail
    • Flexibility to work outside regular hours when necessary
    • Knowledge of basic or commercial refrigeration and HVAC (preferred)
    • High level of professionalism and customer focus
    • Strong telephone and communication skills, capable of handling a high volume of calls
    • Ability to make decisions, learn quickly, and exercise good judgment
    • Effective team collaboration skills
