Service equipment correctly on the first attempt as required and avoid unnecessary down-time.
Service equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop.
Dismantles and reassembles/ rebuilds equipment.
Diagnoses standard mechanical equipment problems.
Fabricate parts as needed to meet needs.
Perform safety inspections on equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment (service truck or shop work station).
Perform maintenance on company vehicle fleet.
Perform maintenance on jobsites.
Service orders should be completed accurately and concisely, use of computer when applicable.
Operate equipment.
Maintain parts inventory.

A minimum 1-3 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment; vocational training may be considered in lieu of experience.
High School diploma is required.
Able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical).
Perform annual certifications and inspections.
Capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision.
