We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Milton CAT. As a Field Technician - Construction GPS, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting machine guidance systems on various types of earthmoving and paving equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Install and troubleshoot machine guidance systems in the field and at customers' facilities.
  • Perform electrical repairs, install system wiring harnesses, and related sensors, configure machine guidance software, perform systems updates, and other software-related tasks.
  • Modify and install hydraulic valves and hoses.
  • Demonstrate installed systems for customers.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
  • Experience with Trimble products is desirable but not essential.
  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills; able to write service reports and provide pertinent details for work orders.
  • Able to interact with customers and answer repair-related questions.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to operate company vehicle.
  • Competent with computers, cell phones, and other types of technology.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must bring a positive, can-do attitude.
