Position Summary: The Vice President of On-Location Marketing will oversee all event and retail marketing strategies and efforts to strengthen Leaf Home’s market position and achieve desired business goals. This role serves as a leader, coach, mentor, and motivator. The VP will direct and manage their staff to exceed performance goals and operate at an incredibly high level of efficiency.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to define, implement, and manage marketing strategy, craft messaging, review budget, and set short- and long-term goals for all Leaf Home product lines.Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.Identify competitors, evaluate their strategies and positioning, and devise counterstrategies.Work closely with the sales department to align sales and marketing strategies.Responsible for increasing year-over-year topline revenue and bottom-line margin.Responsible for revenue and expenditure forecasting. Create necessary reports and provide feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 
10+ years of experience in a managerial role required.
10+ years of experience in event/on-location marketing.2+ years of experience in a senior leadership role.
Must be able to bring best practices to a high-growth company. Values teamwork and understands the importance of creating and continuously developing a high-performing team.
Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.”
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, and solve complex problems.
Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Finance.
Knowledge of the home improvement industry.
Marketing leadership experience in dynamic and rapidly evolving environments.
Highly proactive and strategic mindset, with an uncanny ability to think one step ahead; ability to make difficult decisions. 
Travel Requirements:

25%-50% domestic travel required.  
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).  
Physical Requirements:

Normal office environment.
Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment. 
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
