The position reports to the Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager.Key Accountabilities
Uses fixed or variable measuring instruments to inspect parts, products and/or processes and ensure conformance with standards.
Checks for irregularities and defects.
Compares products with parts lists or sample models to ensure completion of assembly.
Verifies specified dimensions on products or materials.
May be responsible for setting gages to gage manual, engineering specifications, and/or blueprint requirements.
May be responsible for calibration and maintenance of new and existing measurement devices.
May adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position.
Duties and tasks are frequently nonroutine.
Resolves most questions and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.
Works under minimal supervision.
May assist in orienting and training lower level employees.
Follow all safety rules
Punctual and reliable
Work cooperatively in a group setting
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to follow directions both written and verbal.
Ability to work with a dynamic environment with changing tasks and priorities
Qualifications/Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of related experience required
Ability to provide direction, implement ideas, and adapt to changing business environment
Ability to communicate effectively with team and cross functionally.
Good writing/administrative skills,
Proficient computer skills (word processing, Excel spreadsheets, etc.)
Previous experience in machining preferred.

Salary Range: The compensation range(s) identified above are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
