Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Cyber Security Analyst (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to

Serve as part of Visa's Cybersecurity Audit and Compliance (A&C) function within the Cybersecurity Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) team.Provide oversight, coordination, and delivery of the activities that support successful internal audits, external audits and compliance, regulatory activities, and external customer/client requests while effectively balancing the individual elements of these activities.Assist with validating the ongoing effectiveness of Cybersecurity controls across Visa (both automated and manual), working with a variety of control owners within the Cybersecurity organization, and evaluating control design and standards in a variety of program areas.Influence beyond immediate team and with those of more experience/seniority.Develop data points into Information Security risk management reporting activities, including dashboards, metrics, and executive reporting content.Update Cybersecurity leadership on the status of technology risk and compliance issues based on assessment results and information from various monitoring and control systems.Position may require travel.Position reports to the Austin, TX office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a cyber security analyst-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a cyber security analyst-related occupation.Synthesizing a variety of data points, and formulating execution and risk mitigation plans;Conducting data analysis using Microsoft Excel, SQL, or other scripting language;Familiar with at least one cyber security framework & regulation: ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, PCI, FFIEC, SOX, SSAE16/ISAE3402, or SOC 2;Performing an IT compliance audit; andIdentifying and defining metrics that drive performance and develop dashboards

Additional Information

Worksite: Austin, TX

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position may require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $128,752.00 USD to $158,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
