Position Description:  
This position will participate in the design, development, implementation, analysis, and administration of Ameritas compensation programs including both base salary and sales commissions (variable).  This includes acting as a compensation subject matter expert to ensure compliance and accuracy of data records, market analysis, administrative processes, and compensation structure.
 
Position Location:

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home. 

What you do:

Administer Ameritas compensation programs, including base salary, incentive, and variable (sales) compensation.  This role will be a heavy focus on administering our variable compensation programs. 
Complete compensation surveys and review survey results to ensure both internal and external competitiveness.
Analyze work performed to determine appropriate job level and salary. 
Conduct regular audits of compensation data within the HRIS and other platforms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Conduct recurring reviews of compensation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Prepare communication including incentive statements and educational materials to all levels of the organization.
Assist on strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, special projects, and implementing new programs.

What you bring: 

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
1-3 years of related compensation experience required.
Sales (variable) compensation administration experience is preferred. 
Strong Excel proficiency including Pivot Tables, X Lookups, and IF Statements.
