About the Role

The Bryan Health team is seeking a highly skilled Medical Coding Analyst to join our ranks. As a key member of our coding team, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coding Excellence: Review and assign diagnostic, procedural, and complication codes to patient records, adhering to Federal, State, and Payer coding requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Perform audits at outside clinics, compile results, and review denial reasons from insurance companies to ensure seamless reimbursement processes.
  • Coding Guidance: Provide expert guidance on coding issues to outside clinics, promoting consistency and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize productivity, efficiency, and turnaround times while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of ICD-10-CM, CPT Coding, and related courses from an accredited college or acceptable program preferred.
  • Certifications: Possess PMI's CMC certification, AAPC's CPC or CPC-P certification, or AHIMA's CCA, CCS, or CCS-P certification credential.
  • Experience: Prior medical coding experience in a healthcare setting is desired but not necessary.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
