Job Description
Our Facility Maintenance Technician is in charge of keeping our common and residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are strong work ethic, self-motivated, friendly, detailed oriented and takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities

Assist Maintenance Director in identifying needed repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, parking areas, etc.
Paint apartments and common areas.   
Turn vacant apartments.
Complete work orders from residents and staff.
Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs.
Completes special projects as directed. 

Qualifications

Previous experience of at least 1 year in commercial maintenance and/or construction.
Special consideration given to experience in large, multi-unit properties and painting. 
Must be knowledgeable of safety standards, maintenance practices and procedures in painting plumbing, electrical, HVAC
Ability to lift and push100lbs
Must be available on-call and/or for weekend shifts.
Must have a valid driver’s license in the State.
Must have clean background check. 
A liking for adults over 55.
