Your leadership ensures that quality standards are consistently met and maintained.
Independent Reviews and Assessments:Conduct independent reviews and assessments of area/program performance. This includes:
Technical Assessments:Evaluate the quality system and Quality Assurance (QA) practices.
Lessons Learned & Best Practices: Incorporate industry best practices and lessons learned.
Comprehensive Evaluations:Assess technology, production, and programmatic aspects (cost, schedule, quality, and risks).
Risk Identification and Mitigation:Proactively identify and address potential issues in program plans, requirements, risk mitigation plans, certification/verification/validation/qualification approaches, and process/product noncompliance. This ensures overall mission success.
Continuous Improvement:Regularly review quality strategies, practices, and procedures to meet customer requirements. Your commitment to continuous improvement drives the organization towards higher standards of quality.
Customer Relations:Establish and maintain effective customer relations and communication processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with their expectations.
Cost of Poor Quality Reduction:Identify areas for improvement regarding the cost of poor quality. Develop and implement plans to reduce scrap and defective returns, enhancing overall efficiency and reducing costs.
Audit Support:Assist with audit preparation and participate in audit activities as needed. Your involvement ensures readiness and compliance with quality standards.
Compliance Walkthroughs:Perform compliance walkthroughs on the production floor to ensure adherence to the Quality Management System, maintaining high standards of production quality.
First Article Review:Review First Article packages meticulously to detect and correct errors, ensuring initial production meets quality expectations.
Quality Notifications Management:Manage Quality Notifications to ensure timely processing of defective materials. Escalate issues to the appropriate engineering authority when necessary to maintain product integrity.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:
2-year Associates Degree
Precious aviation manufacturing experience

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
